What type of prior experience do I need to have?
We look for Candidates who understand the importance of Customer Service. Prior restaurant experience is preferred but not required; however, management skills are important. Dedication to protecting and enhancing the Planet Wings brand and an excitement for our products is required.

While not mandatory, some business experience is a plus.

As a Planet Wings franchisee, you will be provided with the best trainers and consultants. You and your manager(s) will be thoroughly trained in every aspect of your store operations.

While we cannot do all the work for you, we’ll work together with you along the way. As you work with your trainers and customer support personnel, you’ll become more and more comfortable with your ability to succeed.



What will I receive as part of the Planet Wings Franchise System?

You will have 2 weeks of intensive training at our headquarters. In addition, we will provide onsite help at your own location. You will have access to all Planet Wings operational procedures, software and other exclusive tools. We’ll provide you with a copy of our confidential Construction and Operations Manual to help you run your business effectively.

What are the franchise fees?
A one-time payment of $25,000.

What does the Franchise Fee Include?
• Use of Planet Wings Trademarked brands, images and proprietary items. Our logo is easily recognizable in the communities where we operate.
• Training. A total of one month of training before and during your opening week with the major focus on business operations, planning, employee training, and food preparation.
• Support from Planet Wings Corporate who will be available to assist you during weekly check-in phone calls or any time you need our help from the time you sign your agreement to your Grand Opening and beyond.

What is the total investment to open a Planet Wings?
The estimated required investment for a single unit franchise ranges between $225,000 and $425,000.

Is financing available?
At this time, we do not offer financing to Franchisees.

What is the term of the Franchise Agreement?
The initial term of your agreement is 10 years with a 10 year Renewal Term.

How do I find a location?
We will work with you to find a real estate broker in your area to help with the site selection process. We will have final approval on all sites.

Does Planet Wings award territories?
You will be given the rights to a mutually agreed upon geographic area. No other Planet Wings owner can open a location in your protected area.

What about ongoing guidance with operations?
Experienced field consultants and operations support specialists may visit you via telephone or in person on a periodic basis to consult with you and your personnel on all the important aspects of your business operations.

You will also be able to contact a member of the Planet Wings support team between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Eastern Time Monday through Friday. We also have an emergency number for after hour calls. We are at your service whenever you have a question or need advice.

How do I get trained to run my store?
You or your manager or both will spend two weeks at Planet Wings Corporate with a qualified trainer by your side. This is classroom as well as in-the-restaurant training.

If I don’t meet your financial requirements, can I partner with someone who does?
That is acceptable. A financial statement and resume must by provided for each member of your group.

Does Planet Wings provide financing for my franchise?
We do not finance franchises. We will help you in the process of putting together a business plan that will be needed to secure a loan.

What is the potential profit of a Planet Wings?
We would encourage you as a potential franchisee to conduct due diligence that is sufficient to help you make a decision. Profitability of a restaurant is dependent upon many factors such as the ability of the franchisee to manage the business, control operating costs and drive sales volume.
