As a Planet Wings franchisee, you will attend Planet Wings University, three weeks of comprehensive training at our corporate training center in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. You will also receive one week of training on-site at your location. Our training programs cover all aspects of operating a Planet Wings franchise and includes everything you will need to run your business! While training at our Corporate Headquarters, you will also receive hands-on experience working and operating one of our corporate stores.

You will receive on-going operational and marketing support, in-store evaluations and business training classes. We have over 120 corporate team members working to support you in your business operations, financing, real estate, staffing, construction and accounting.

Planet Wings University is not a crash course. During your three weeks of education, you will learn to prepare and serve the best chicken wings in America, while you also receive cutting edge business, marketing and sales training. The University’s programs will enable you to run your business at the highest level possible on a day to day basis.

Primary subjects covered at Planet Wings University include food preparation, equipment maintenance, customer service, marketing, sales and advertising, and general operations.

In addition to your three weeks of training on site, you will receive one additional week of training at your Planet Wings restaurant to assist you with your soft opening.

A great location, great wings and great employees are of absolute importance, but without a world class enterprise based operating platform, you’ll go nowhere fast. Planet Wing’s has developed the industry’s most comprehensive proprietary store operations platform and systems.

The all inclusive platform is designed for flexibility, resilience, and the streamlined integration of personnel management, product/inventory control, sales, marketing, internal and external security and the ability to fully integrate your Quickbooks accounting software. During training, you will be instructed in all aspects of Planet Wing’s operational procedures and how to manage implementation.

Your FSM and the Business Development Team will continue to help you become adept in reducing your labor cost, product cost, and managing your overhead so that you are operating your business with the highest level of proficiency...meaning more money in your pocket.

Planet Wings honors our best store operators by offering them the opportunity to reap the financial rewards associated with becoming a regional training facility.

Though we have dozens of Planet Wing’s store marketing programs available, not all of them will fit your market or personality. During training, you will benefit from working with the Planet Wing’s Marketing Team as they assess your particular market and work with you to develop a specific marketing and advertising plan that fits your demographics. You will also be coached and get real world experience as you will network with other business owners and managers in the community.

The marketing, advertising, and sales knowledge you gain during your three weeks at Planet Wings University will give you the tools to enable you to launch your business with confidence.
